Looking for a Eucharistic adoration book for kids with lectio divina? The Sacred Heart’s Club has developed a thirty-seven week Eucharistic adoration book that teaches kids how to pray before the Blessed Sacrament with meditations from saints devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and lessons about the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, as well as the virtues. This program is best suited for kids ages 9-14.
Kids will learn the faith more deeply with this Sacred Heart’s Club book offering weekly Eucharistic adoration meditations. Our program can be easily aligned with the academic school year to be incorporated in religious education programs, Catholic schools, or homeschool groups. Our club can also be used privately by parents, grandparents, godparents, or sponsors who want to teach their kids how to pray to our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
Upcoming Adoration Book for Kids
Our Eucharistic adoration book for kids will encourage a personal relationship with Jesus. Throughout the 37 weeks of this program kids will have the opportunity to grow in their faith and in virtue as a group. The Eucharistic adoration book facilitates 15 minutes of adoration a week. There are prompted questions that lead each meditation. Each week they prayerfully read writings of the saints and corresponding scripture verses through a carefully taught and child friendly form of Lectio Divina. There are also guided questions for kids who struggle with how to open up to Jesus and listen to Him in prayer.
Using Lectio Divina for Kids
Each weekly lectio divina for kids meditation will teach one of the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit, one of the 7 virtues, or one of the 12 fruits of the Holy Spirit, aligning perfectly as a supplement for parish confirmation programs. Every month the meditations will feature a biography and the writings of a saint devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Book One includes saints from the 13th century through the end of the 18th century. Each meditation includes a scripture passage and a moving question to encourage prayerful responses from club members. The Sacred Heart’s Club will help students learn how to practice lectio divina while adoring Jesus in the Holy Eucharist each week, establishing a personal relationship with Him, and helping them grow to be saints.
