Our adoration for kids club is open to children who have received their first holy Communion and are between the ages of 9 and 14 years old.
Welcome to the Sacred Heart’s Club
Once you have received Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament you are ready to begin a special relationship with Him.
There is no better way to know Jesus than to spend time with Him in Eucharistic adoration and learn how to pray to Him, and listen to Him. He really is alive and present to us in the Holy Eucharist!
Have you ever had a personal experience with Jesus? You know, the kind of moment where He let’s you KNOW that He heard your prayer and He loves you? If not, do you want to? There is a wonderful way to pray to God that is like no other. It’s called Eucharistic Adoration. As Catholics, we BELIEVE that Jesus is really present in the bread and wine after the priest consecrates it at the altar during Mass.
What to Expect
When you go to an adoration chapel there will be a golden stand on the altar called a monstrance and inside of it you will see a consecrated Host. This is Jesus! And He is THERE, waiting for you to come and say hello to Him and show Him your love.
This is the mystery of our faith. Jesus taught us that He is with us ALWAYS, even until the end of time. He comes to us in the Holy Eucharist at Mass and He also comes to us when we adore Him in the Blessed Sacrament in the adoration chapel.
