Holy Spirit, eternal Love of the Father and the Son,
Please give us the grace to grow in the 12 fruits that come from your Spirit.
We pray for the fruit of CHARITY, so that we may be united to You by Divine love;
the fruit of JOY, that we may be filled with holy consolation even when suffering from trials;
the fruit of PEACE, that we may enjoy tranquillity of soul;
the fruit of PATIENCE, that we may trust in you completely and in your perfect timing.
the fruit of GOODNESS, so that our inner characters grow to be moral and just;
the fruit of KINDNESS, that our hearts may always be open to the needs of others;
the fruit of GENEROSITY, that we may freely give to aid the poor;
the fruit of GENTLENESS, that we may be humble and approachable toward those who oppose us;
the fruit of FAITHFULNESS, that we never stop loving you or obeying your word even when life gets difficult;
the fruit of MODESTY, so that how we dress and act represents our dignity as children of God;
the fruit of SELF-CONTROL so that we may govern our desires, emotions, and impulses;
and the fruit of CHASTITY, to help us keep our bodies pure and holy because we are temples of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.
We humbly ask all this in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit so that in this life we can honor You through our bodies, minds, souls, and spirits and become living tabernacles where Your Spirit lives and acts through us.
